The Penn State Behrend Student Athletic Advisory Committee (SAAC) and the women’s basketball team combined fundraising efforts and raised over $3,400 to assist in the rebuilding of fire-damaged Ricardo’s Restaurant owned by Pete West, a long time supporter of Behrend athletics.

The Penn State Behrend women’s basketball team will be making its eighth appearance in the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Tournament, earning the fourth-seed and playing host to No. 5 Marywood on Wednesday night in first-round action at 7 p.m. in the Junker Center.

The Penn State Behrend women’s basketball team will be making its 14th straight Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Tournament appearance when they host Mt. Aloysius in the first round on Tuesday night at the Junker Center. Game time is 7 p.m.

The Penn State Behrend men’s and women’s home basketball teams will host their annual “Pink Zone” games against Franciscan this Saturday at the Junker Center. The women tip off at 2 p.m., followed by the men at 4 p.m.

Chantelle Jennings drained the game-winning three-pointer with seven seconds on the clock to help La Roche edge Penn State Behrend 54-53 in Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) action on Monday night.
