ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend women's track and field team is back in action on Saturday for the Steemer Showcase, hosted by Wittenberg University.

* Behrend is coming off the Houghton Invitational where seven Lions set new personal records
* Ivy Laffan (Waterford, PA/Fort LeBoeuf) (28.43), Madison Kappeler (Cecil, PA/Canon-McMillan) (29.66), and Rachael Buhl (33.66) each set career bests in the 200m
* Kappeler also secured third place in the pole vault with a final mark of 2.90m
* Laffan took sixth place last weekend in the 400m
* Victoria Dieterich (Oakmont, PA/Riverview) set a new PR in the 400 with a time of 1:08.29
* Brianna Downing (Saxonburg, PA/Knoch) and Haley Felton (Midway, PA/Fort Cherry) set a new benchmark in shot put, finishing with marks of 8.03m and 7.67m
