ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend women's track and field team is back in action this weekend for a two-day invitational starting on Friday, hosted by Ashland University.

* Last time out, the Lions set multiple personal records (PR) at the Wittenberg Invitational
* The 4x400 relay quartet of Haley Felton (Midway, PA/Fort Cherry), Victoria Dieterich (Oakmont, PA/Riverview), Izzy Spires (Wattsburg, PA/Seneca) and Ivy Laffan (Waterford, PA/Fort LeBoeuf) finished in 4:28.39, clinching first in their respective heat
* Felton set a new PR in the 60m with a time of 9.05
* Dieterich also set a new personal best in the 60m event, clocking in at 9.07
* Shannon Burns (Jefferson, OH/Jefferson) had a mark of 4.51m in the long jump, setting a new personal high
* Two weeks ago, seven Lions set PR's at the Highlander Invitational hosted by Houghton
* Laffan, Madison Kappeler (Cecil, PA/Canon-McMillan) and Rachael Buhl each broke their own personal record in the 200m in Houghton
