Behrend’s 4000 Distance Medley Relay Team Runs AARTFC Qualifying Time At Ashland

ASHLAND, Ohio – The Penn State Behrend men's indoor track & field competed in the Jud Logan "Light Giver" Open, a two-day invitational hosted by Ashland on Friday and Saturday.

Key Moments:

* The two-day invitational was kicked off with an AARTFC qualifying time from the Lions 4000 distance medley relay team
* The team of Aidan Domencic (Cranberry Township, PA/Seneca Valley), Jake Walden (Erie, PA/Cathedral Prep), Jason Seevers (North East, PA/North East), and Kody Klein (North East, PA/Cathedral Prep) registered a 12th-place finish with a qualifying time of 10:20.22
* In the long jump, Brandon Konieczki (Harborcreek, PA/Harbor Creek) recorded a score of 21-5 ½ for 11th-place
* Senior Samuel Hetrick (New Bethlehem, PA/Redbank Valley) finished 15th in the high jump with a jump of 6-0 ¾
* Hetrick still holds the meet record of 6-10 ¾, a feat that he set during the 2022 season
