ASHLAND, Ohio – The Penn State Behrend men's indoor track & field had their final tune-up meet before championships at Ashland's "Last Chance Meet" on Saturday.

Key Moments:

* Senior Samuel Hetrick (New Bethlehem, PA/Redbank Valley) recorded the top finish in the field for the Lions, jumping 6-0 ¾ in the high jump for first place
* On the track, Jake Egizio (Canonsburg, PA/Canon-McMillan) scored a first-place finish in the 400 dash with a time of 50.08
* Freshman Brandon Konieczki (Harborcreek, PA/Harbor Creek) registered a time of 23.02 in the 200 dash for fourth place, while Egizio placed sixth in this event (23.68). Konieczki would go on to record a distance of 21-8 ¼ for fourth in the long jump
* In the 60 dash, Konieczki set a new personal best, running a time of 7.17 for fifth place
* Junior Kody Klein (North East, PA/Cathedral Prep) delivered a third-place finish in the mile (4:23.11) and a fourth-place finish in the 800 (1:59.93)
* A trio of Lions placed first, second, and third in the 3000
* Lucas Boyd (North East, PA/North East) earned first place (9:45.55), followed by Joey George (Leechburg, PA/Kiski) (10:25.63), and Davis Saynuk (Columbia, MD/Howard) (10:40.84)
