ERIE, Pa. – Former Penn State Behrend men's basketball standout Russ Conley has been re-signed to the Niagara River Lions for the 2016-17 season.

Conley appeared in 31 games for the River Lions last season, averaging 3.8 points and 2.1 rebounds per game. The 6'10" center shot 60% inside the arc and 66% from the free throw line. Prior to playing for Niagara, Conley was a member of the Pavaska Bystrica basketball team in Slokavia and the NBA D-League Erie Bayhawks for a year.

Conley was a two-time Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Player of the Year and All-Great Lakes Region choice. He was also a three-time All-Conference selection, earning first-team honors his final two years.
