Behrend Continues to Lead Presidents Cup Standings

ERIE, Pa. – With seven conference championships accumulated through the 2016-17 winter season, Penn State Behrend continues to hold a commanding lead in the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Presidents Cup Standings, announced on Friday.

The Lions added men's and women's swimming and diving championships to the five fall titles (men's golf, men's and women's soccer, men's and women's cross country). Based on the percentage of possible points calculated by both regular season and post-season finish to provide a weighted measure of success, Behrend is out front with an 87.1 ranking percentage.

La Roche moved into second place with a 62.0 ranking percentage after claiming the women's basketball championship along with runner-up finishes in men's golf and men's basketball. Pitt-Bradford sits a close third with a 65.2 ranking percentage.

The Lions have won 15 of 16 Presidents Cups since the award was initiated in the 2000-2001 academic year.
