ERIE, Pa. - Three Penn State Behrend track and field athletes will be competing at the NCAA Division III Indoor Championships Friday and Saturday.
Paige Allen (Butler, PA/Butler) will be representing the women in the 60 meter dash. She is currently tied for 16th in the nation with a time of 7.79 seconds.
On the men's side, Mitchell Obenrader (Fryburg, PA/North Clarion) and Luke Patten (West Middlesex, PA/West Middlesex) will be competing in their respective field events.
Obenrader represents the Lions in the shot put. His season-best throw of 17.13 meters ranks him fifth in the nation.
Patten will be competing in the pole vault were he ranks eighth in the nation with a height of 4.97 meters.
The two-day championship event is set to start at 10 a.m. on both days.
