ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's basketball team is starting the 2013-14 season early with seven-day, six-night international trip to Costa Rica. The Lions depart on Sunday, August 11 and return on Saturday, August 17.

This excursion marks the fourth international trip for the Lions. Behrend traveled to Germany (1998), Spain (2002), Brazil (2010) and now Costa Rica (2013).

The Lions' travel party is comprised of nine players, four coaches and one graduate assistant. Behrend will arrive in San Jose, Costa Rica and set out to put on a clinic in Sitio and then experience the Caribbean, while playing three games against the local club teams.
