The Penn State Behrend men’s cross country team announced their team award winners for the 2014 season on Wednesday.
CARLISLE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's cross country team placed 17th out of 47 teams at the NCAA Regionals hosted by Dickinson on Saturday. The Lions finished with a team score of 435. Both Jake Parsons and Dylan Buffington were selected to the Mideast Region All-Freshman team for Top Seven finishes among freshman.
The Penn State Behrend men’s and women’s cross country teams will travel to Dickinson on Saturday for the NCAA Regionals. The Lions are looking to improve from last season where the men took 19th place out of 54 teams and the women placed 17th out of 48 teams.
The Penn State Behrend men’s cross country team swept the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) honors and seven runners were selected to the all-conference team after claiming the programs fourth straight championship last Saturday.
Devin Beggs led the Penn State Behrend men’s cross country team to their fourth straight and eighth overall AMCC championship Saturday with a first place finish. Beggs finished with a time of 27:01. The Lions recorded a perfect team score of 15, placing the top five runners. The race marked the second straight year a Behrend runner won the AMCC meet.
ERIE, Pa. - The Penn State Behrend men’s cross country team is searching for their fourth straight AMCC title and eighth overall this Saturday at Franciscan. The Lions were victorious earlier this season when they traveled to Franciscan taking first in the invitational on September 6.
The Penn State Behrend men's cross country team finished 22nd out of 33 teams Saturday at the Oberlin Invitational. As a team Behrend finished with a score of 608. Devin Beggs led the way for the Lions finishing in 99th place. Beggs ran an 8k time of 27:10.8, which was also tops for any AMCC runner at the event.
The Penn State Behrend men's cross country team finished fifth out of 13 teams Saturday afternoon at the Carnegie Mellon Invitational. The Lions finished with a team score of 156.
ERIE, Pa. – Freshman Jacob Parsons was chosen as the ECAC Rookie of the Week after his strong performance at the Dickinson Invitational on Saturday.
The Penn State Behrend men’s cross country team finished 16th out of 36 teams with a team score of 177 in the 8k event at Dickinson College Saturday morning.
The Penn State Behrend men’s cross country team took second place out of 16 teams at the Behrend Invitational on Saturday. Behrend finished with an overall team score of 59.
The Penn State Behrend men's cross country team won the Franciscan Invitational placing five of the top seven finishers. Devin Beggs (Franklin, PA/Franklin) won the 8k race with a time of 28:37, nine seconds better than the next finisher.
The Penn State Behrend Lions men's cross country team opened up their season at the Allegheny College Classic 5k on Saturday. The Lions finished in third place and had five runners in the top 20.
