GROVE CITY, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend women’s tennis team dropped only its fourth match of the season, falling to Grove City 9-0 in a rescheduled non-conference match on Tuesday.

The Wolverines swept the doubles competition 8-1, 8-2 and 8-3 before winning all six singles matches. Allison Quigley, playing at fifth singles, took her opponent to an extra game in the first set but fell 7-6 and then 6-3.

Behrend falls to 12-4 on the season, while Grove City improves their record to 11-1.

The Lions are back in action on Saturday at the AMCC Championships held in Wexford, Pa.  Matches begin at 2 p.m.
