ERIE, Pa. – Freshman women's diver Lauren Stephens (Fairview, PA/Fairview) and junior men's swimmer Tim Compton (Pittsburgh, PA/North Allegheny) were named Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Athletes of the Week.

For the second straight week, Stephens notched AMCC Diver of the Week honors. She finished with second place scores of 201.70 on the one-meter and 174.95 on the three-meter board in the women's first-ever victory in program history over Westminster (160-138).

Compton was instrumental in three event victories for the Lions this past weekend to secure AMCC Men's Swimmer of the Week. He won the 200 fly (1:59.01) and 500 free (4:55.90), while swimming in the winning 400 free relay to help the men defeat the Titans, 199-94.

Swimming and diving hosts Alfred State this Saturday. The meet is slated to start at 1:00 p.m.
