ERIE, Pa. – Junior swimmer Tim Compton (Pittsburgh, PA/North Allegheny) and sophomore diver Jacob Earley (Erie, PA/Harbor Creek) were named AMCC Men's Swimmer and Diver of the Week.

Compton won the first swimming event for the Lions against Grove City this past Saturday, finishing first in the 200-freestyle (1:47.55). He would go on to notch his second victory with a time of 2:00.42 in the 200-butterfly.

Earley was victorious in both diving events against the Wolverines. He scored victories in the 1-and 3-meter dives with totals of 197.85 and 186.30, respectively.

The swimming and diving teams will be back in action on Friday, Jan. 26 at Gannon. The meet is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m.
