ERIE, Pa. - The Penn State Behrend men's swimming and diving team will open Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) action against reigning champions Alfred State on Saturday in the Junker Center Pool. Meet begins at 1 p.m.

* Behrend ended the season with a third-place finish at the AMCC Championships
* Tim Compton (Pittsburgh, PA/North Allegheny) returns after being a three-time individual champion and four-time runner up at the championships
* Last time out, the Lions got a 1-2 finish in the opening medley relay and never relinquished the lead to defeat Westminster, 199-94
* Compton was named AMCC Athlete of the Week for winning three events for the Lions in the win vs the Titans on Saturday
* Compton won the 200 fly (1:59.01) and the 500 free (4:55.90), while swimming a leg on the winning 400 free relay
* Anthony Tumino (Hershey, PA/Hershey) was a four-time winner (two individual and two relay) to help the Lions collect their first dual-meet victory
