ERIE, Pa. - The Penn State Behrend women's swimming and diving team's home opener this Saturday features the Westminster Titans at 1 p.m. in the Junker Center Pool.

* The Lions defeated Alfred State last weekend with a convincing 175-90 decision
* Marcella Puglia (Beaver Falls, PA/Blackhawk) led the Lions with three individual wins and one relay for four overall to be named the AMCC Swimmer of the Week
* Barbie Cessar (Slippery Rock, PA/Slippery Rock) posted two individual wins and one relay on the day
* The Behrend Lions tallied 12 first-place finishes on the day

* Saturday's meet marks the season opener for the Titans
* Westminster was picked tied for first in the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Coaches Preseason Poll
* Seniors Kaitlyn Fast, Maggie Manolis, and Abigail Jones and sophomore Marissa Bowers were named to the PAC Women's Swimmers and Divers to Watch list.
