ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend women's swimming and diving team has been named a Division III Scholar All-America Team by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA), on Wednesday.
The CSCAA has named 762 teams to its Scholar All-America list for the Fall 2019 semester. The teams represent 480 institutions from across all NCAA, NAIA and NJCAA Divisions. The CSCAA recognizes teams with the Scholar All-America Award for achieving a team grade-point average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher. The Lions also earned this honor in the Spring of 2019.
The Lions sported a 3.24 GPA and was one of two Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) teams representing Division III. Penn State Altoona was also recognized by the CSCAA.
