The Penn State Behrend women’s cross country squad announced their team award winners for the 2014 season, voted on by members of the team.
The Penn State Behrend women’s cross country team finished 43rd out of 52 teams at the NCAA Regionals hosted by Dickinson on Saturday. Katie Manno led the Lions with a 148th place finish running a time of 25:05.1. As a team Behrend finished with a team score of 1196.
The Penn State Behrend men’s and women’s cross country teams will travel to Dickinson on Saturday for the NCAA Regionals. The Lions are looking to improve from last season where the men took 19th place out of 54 teams and the women placed 17th out of 48 teams.
Katie Manno took second place leading the Penn State Behrend women’s cross country team to a third place team finish at the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Championships. The Lions finished with a team score of 80 in the 6k event hosted by Franciscan.
The Penn State Behrend women’s cross country team will compete to win their third straight AMCC championship Saturday at Franciscan. Last season the Lions captured their second straight conference title, placing five out of the top six runners.

The Penn State Behrend women’s cross country team finished 25th out of 35 teams in the 6k event Saturday at the Dickinson Invitational. The Lions finished with a team score of 311.
The Penn State Behrend women’s cross country team finished 10th out of 18 teams on Saturday in the Behrend Invitational. The Lions finished with a team score of 292.
The Penn State Behrend women's cross country team finished 3rd out of eight teams on Saturday at the Franciscan Invitational. Miranda Boatman (Bellefonte, PA/Bellefonte) led the Lions with a 15th place finish running a time of 28:59.
The Penn State Behrend women's cross country team opened up their season on Saturday with a third place finish at the Allegheny College Classic 5k. The Lions had seven runners finish in the top 25.
