Behrend extended its lead at halftime from three to nine points in the first five minutes of the third quarter. Five different players scored in a 9-2 spurt, starting with a layup from Ali Goetz (Mars, PA/Mars) and ending with a jumper from Katie Chess (Bethel Park, PA/Bethel Park) for a 33-24 lead.
