CRESSON, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend women's basketball team closed out the regular season with a 60-50 victory over Pitt-Greensburg in Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) action on Saturday night.

The Lions (15-10, 13-5 AMCC), who took a two-year hiatus from conference playoffs, have won their last six contests to earn the No. 2 seed in the AMCC Tournament and will receive a first-round bye. The win also marks the second over the Bobcats (10-15, 8-10 AMCC) this season.

Fontaine Glenn (West Sunbury, PA/Moniteau) was one of three players in double-figure scoring with a game and season-high 16 points. Dani Reinwald (Clymer, NY/Clymer Central) and Rachael Razzano (New Castle, PA/New Castle) each added 14 points. Reinwald also added 12 boards and six blocks.

Kelsey Oddis was the leading scorer for Pitt-Greensburg with 12 points.

Behrend used a 20-9 second quarter, getting eight points from Reinwald, to take the lead for good and enter playoffs with winning 11 of its last 15 games.

The Bobcats edged out the Lions in the third quarter by one point to get within nine, but Behrend quickly regained a double-digit lead in the fourth and took its largest advantage at 16 points with 3:49 left to play.

The Lions continue their hot free-throw shooting, going 15-for-20 from the charity stripe on the night.

Behrend returns to action on Saturday against the winner of No. 3 Pitt-Bradford and No. 6 Pitt-Greensburg in the semifinals of the AMCC playoffs held at No. 1 La Roche. Game time is 3:30 p.m.
