Track and Field Competes in Bill Lennox Invitational on Friday

ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend track & field program travels to Slippery Rock, PA on Friday for the Bill Lennox Invitational hosted by Slippery Rock.

* The Lions most recently competed in a tri-meet with Mercyhurst and Gannon on Tuesday
* Amory Coleman-Reeves (Erie, PA/Cathedral Prep) set the facility record in the long jump with a leap of 6.97m, an All-Atlantic qualifying distance
* Coleman-Reeves has Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) top-numbers in the long jump, 100m dash (11.10), and 200m dash (22.44)
* Eric Stehlik (Northport, NY/Northport) was named the CSAC Track Athlete of the Week for a great performance at the Alfred State Early Season Invite last Friday
* Stehlik won the 200m and set a personal best in the 400m
* Stehlik is ranked first in the CSAC in the 400m (51.22) and second behind Coleman-Reeves in the 200m (22.48)
* Madison Kappeler (Cecil, PA/Canon-McMillan) won the 100m and pole vault events on Tuesday
* Kappeler is ranked first in the CSAC in both events with a time of 14.22 in the 100m and a height of 3.05m in the pole vault
* Savanna Carr (Franklin, PA/Franklin Area) leads the CSAC in the 800m (2:38.77) and the 1500m (5:24.31)
