ERIE, Pa. – Penn State Berend sophomore Tim Compton (Pittsburgh, PA/North Allegheny) and freshman Jacob Earley (Erie, PA/Harbor Creek) were named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Men's Swimming Athletes of the Week.

Compton, the Swimmer of the Week, won two individual events and one relay to lead Behrend past Altoona on Saturday. He was first in the 1000 freestyle in (10:16.58) and the 100 butterfly (53.05), while swimming a leg on the winning 200 medley relay.

Early, the Diver of the Week, took first on the three-meter board with a winning score of 195.25.
