Three Women's Track and Field Athletes Compete at Allegheny

MEADVILLE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend women's track and field team had three athletes compete Friday afternoon at the Allegheny Invitational.

Kati Piger (Williamsport, PA/Loyalsock) notched a seventh place finish in the long jump. Her leap was a distance of 15' 7.75".

Abby Gilmore (Waterford, PA/Fort LeBoeuf) clocked in at 2:40.24 in the 800m run. Her effort was good enough for eighth place at the invitational.

In the pole vault, Maura Costa (Pittsburgh, PA/Baldwin) posted a twelfth place finish. She finished with a mark of 9' 8".

The Lions will rest up over the weekend and return to action on Monday when they travel to Ohio Wesleyan for the final regular-season meet. Events will begin at 4 p.m.
