ERIE, Pa. – Senior Kevin Koerbel (Gibsonia, PA/Deer Lakes), and freshmen Matt Gurska (Hermitage, PA/Kennedy Catholic) and Dante Vetica (Hermitage, PA/Kennedy Catholic) have been named to the 2011 Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) All-Conference team, announced on Friday.
Koerbel and Gurska were selected to the first team, while Vetica was a chosen to the second team. This is the third All-AMCC honor for Koerbel, earning second-team accolades in 2008 and first-team honors last season.
Koerbel tied for fourth overall at the AMCC Championships with a two-day total of 151. Gurska won the D’Youville and Hilbert Invitational’s and fired a low score of 72 this season. At AMCC’s, he tied for 11th place with a score of 155.
Vetica was sixth overall at the conference championships, finishing with a 162 for seventh overall.
