Solivan Named AMCC Swimmer of the Week

ERIE, Pa. – Sophomore Javier Solivan (San Juan, Puerto Rico/UHS) has been named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Swimmer of the Week. It is the first time he has earned this honor.

Solivan won two individual events and swam a leg on a winning relay against Division II Gannon last Tuesday. He won the 200 freestyle in 1:47, before touching first in the 100 freestyle by over a full second with a time of 48.26. Solivan was also a member of the winning 200 yard freestyle relay.

He currently holds the top times in the 100 and 200 freestyle in the AMCC.

The Lions return to action on Friday at the Fredonia State Blue Devil Invitational.
