ERIE, Pa. – The No. 1 Penn State Behrend men's volleyball team will host No. 2 St. Vincent in the semifinals of the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Championships on Friday night at 4:30 p.m. in the Junker Center.

No. 1 (North) Penn State Behrend News & Notes:
* Behrend earned the regular-season championship for the third time in program history
* The Lions boasted a 12-1 conference record to claim the No. 1 seed with a head-to-head win over Geneva from the south division
* Behrend is looking to capture its third overall AMCC Championship

* Libero Adrian Martinez (San Juan, Puerto Rico/Wesleyan Academy), the 2023 AMCC Preseason Player of the Year, ranks sixth Division III 3.48 digs per set
* Martinez has 299 digs on the season to lead the AMCC
* Owen Wienczkowski (Waterford, PA/Fort LeBoeuf) is first in the conference in hitting percentage (.342) for the second straight season and also leads in blocks per set (0.92)

* St. Vincent, the No. 2 team in the south division, defeated No. 3 Hilbert to advance to the semifinals
* The Bearcats posted a 3-0 win over Hilbert (25-14, 25-18, 29-27)
* St. Vincent enters the semifinals with a 11-9 overall record
* Senior outside hitter Matthew Minkin paces the AMCC in kills per set (3.71) and is third in kills (271)
* Senior libero Matthew Klasnic is second in the league with 2.92 digs per set, trailing Martinez
