Colin McGarry Named to ACWPC All-American Team

Colin McGarry (Annapolis, Md./Broadneck) has recently been named to the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches All-American Team.  Only a freshman, McGarry was selected to represent the honorable mention team as an All-American.

McGarry splashed onto the scene in his first year in the men's water polo program.  He played in 22 games and recorded 28 assists, 41 steals and also had 24 drawn kickouts.  McGarry made his mark as a goal scorer with 39 total goals while attempting 101 shots.  He was a consistent performer all year long for Coach Joe Tristan and remained committed and determined throughout the entire season.

"Colin has worked hard all season, and it is great to see that coaches around the league have noticed his athletic abilities," said Coach Tristan.  "It is great to see a strong athlete like Colin be recognized with other great athletes around the country."

McGarry has been noticed for his accomplishments throughout the season including being named to the Division III Eastern Championship All-Tournament Team.  McGarry has a long career ahead of him and his freshman year was just a glimpse at what is to come in the future.
