CWPA Announces 2015 Scholar Athlete Team

ERIE, Pa. – The Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) and the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC) has recognized the Penn State Behrend women's water polo team and four student athletes for their athletic and academic performance during the 2015 season.

Senior Breanne Martinez (La Mirada, CA/St. Joseph) and freshman Taylor Reed (York, PA/Central York) were named to the Superior All-Academic Team for achieving a grade-point average (GPA) of 3.41-3.70. Junior Lauren Rosato (Pittsburgh, PA/Chartiers Valley) and freshman Rayni Modecki (Carnegie, PA/Chartiers Valley) were named to the Excellent All-Academic Team, featuring student-athletes with GPA's of 3.40-3.20.

The Lions were also one of nine teams to receive league honors for posting a combined GPA of 2.96
