Men's Golf Sits 10th After Day One of Guy W. Kuhn Invitational

MEADVILLE, Pa. – Ryder Grignol (Erie, PA/McDowell) finished in the Top 10, tying for eighth place with a team-low score of 75 to help the Penn State Behrend men's golf team finish 10th after day one of Guy W. Kuhn Invitational held at the Country Club of Meadville.

The Lions are 14 strokes out from first-place Wittenberg. The Tigers have the top score with 301, while Behrend is 10th out of 16 teams with a 315 score for 18 holes. Carnegie Mellon is in second with a 304 and Saint Vincent is third (306).

Grignol was first on the team with +3 over par, while JT Kuchnicki (Pittsburgh, PA/Montour) had a two-stroke difference from Gringol with a 77 to tie for 22nd overall.

Tying for 51st overall, Ryan Matlock (Erie, PA/Mercyhurst) tallied an 80 for the par 72 course. Noah Kunst (Kittanning, PA/Kittanning) held the fourth spot on the team and was tied for 70th with a score of 83, while Cody Stinson (Erie, PA/Harbor Creek) rounded out the team with an 84 (T80).

Behrend returns to action tomorrow for the second day of competition. Tee times begin at 8:30 a.m.
