ERIE, Pa. – Penn State Behrend men's swimming and diving senior Nick Kost (Ashburn, VA/Stone Bridge) has been named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Swimmer of the Week for his performance at the three-day Blue Devil Invitational hosted by Fredonia State.

Kost led the Lions to a second-place finish with 631 points, falling seven points short of first-place Allegheny. He hit his first NCAA "B" cut qualifying time with a first-place finish in the 400 IM with a time of 4:06.95. Kost also won the 200 IM in 1:56.50, while placing third in the 200 backstroke (1:58.89) and then swimming on two winning relays.

Behrend takes a break for finals week and the holidays and returns to action on Saturday, January 14 against Washington & Jefferson at 1 p.m.
