CALIFORNIA, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend women's track and field team took center stage on Saturday afternoon at the California Invitational.
Freshman Paige Allen (Butler, PA/Butler) won the 100 meter dash with a time of 12.39.
Franki DiSalvo (Erie, PA/McDowell) finished fourth in the same event, coming in at 13.06.
Allen had a spectacular day, later finishing second in the 200 meter dash with a time of 25.96.
Haley Hughes (Cochranton, PA/Cochranton) posted a second place finish in the 3000 meter event, with a time of 12:03.17.
The squad of DiSalvo, Allen, Abby Gilmore (Waterford, PA/Fort LeBoeuf), and Katie Spade (Warren, PA/Warren) finished second in the 4x400 relay with a time of 4:13.62.
The Lions will travel to Defiance on March 29.
