ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend track and field team will be well represented at this week's 2014 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships at Ohio Wesleyan University's George Gauthier Track.

Three athletes will compete in four events for the Lions, marking the first time in program history that Behrend will be represented in NCAA's on the track and not only in the field events.

Malik Moffett Pulliam (Erie, PA/Catedral Prep) will participate in both the men's 100 meter dash and the 200 meter dash. The freshman set a new Behrend outdoor record in the 100 (10.61 seconds) at the ECAC Championship meet last week. He broke the record in the 200 (21.54 seconds) on April 19. At the Penn State Behrend Invitational on April 26, Obenrader set a new Lions record in the event with a distance of 208 feet and six inches. The javelin competition begins on Saturday, May 24 at 3 p.m.
