AMCC Announces Fall Sportsmanship Awards

ERIE, Pa. – The Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) announced the All-Sportsmanship Team for 2022-23 Fall season.

All institution sport teams which compete for an AMCC championship may select one member from their team who displays good sportsmanship throughout the season to be a member of the All-AMCC Sportsmanship Team.  These individuals are selected by vote of their teammates.

Seniors Sarah Cole (Jackson Center, PA/Lakeview) and Aidan Domencic (Cranberry Township, PA/Seneca Valley) were chosen for women's volleyball and men's cross country, respectively. Juniors Nate Rondinelli (Karns City, PA/Karns City) and Christine Patterson (McKean, PA/General McLane) represent the men's and women's soccer teams. Sophomore Daniel McMaster (Murrysville, PA/Greensburg Central Catholic) was voted for men's golf, while sophomores Ivy Laffan (Waterford, PA/Fort LeBoeuf) and Keri Saulino (Bethlehem, PA/Freedom) were selected for women's cross country and women's tennis.

The student-athlete selected must consistently demonstrate a high level of ethical conduct, respect and fair play in both practice and competition, whether on the sidelines or as an active competitor.  Such sportsmanship shall be evident toward teammates, coaches, opponents, officials and fans.  He/She/They must also serve as a positive representative of school spirit when a spectator at other teams' sporting events.
