Men's Soccer Blog: Three Day Recap of Spain

Saturday:
After a visit of coastal Valencia, the team headed inland to the metropolitan city of Madrid. The Spanish capital has a strip reminiscent of Times Square, which is where the hotel was located. That night, the team ate and then explored the town, which is quite large and crowded.

Sunday:
After initial exploration, the team was led by an experienced your guide through the historic center of Madrid from the morning till the afternoon. With a few hours to kill between the end of the tour and the Atletico Madrid v Barcelona game that evening, the team split up and found shopping and restaurants.

The game itself was spectacular. The fans were interesting to observe, the stadium had a great atmosphere, and the players, of course, were remarkable. Seeing professionals such as Messi, Iniesta, and Falcao, who scored, ply their trade was truly special.

Monday:
This morning through afternoon was filled with a tour of the city of Toledo. The city was historically and aesthetically breathtaking. Gorgeous views and ancient buildings and streets made the experience unique and unforgettable.
