NSCAA/Continental Tire NCAA Division III All-Americans

ERIE, Pa. – Penn State Behrend men's soccer forward Jake Gamble (Butler, PA/Butler) was named a 2012 NSCAA/Continental Tire NCAA Division III Men's Third-Team All-America honoree, announced on Tuesday.

Gamble is the first Behrend player to ever earn a spot on the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) All-American Team.

The senior forward was a dominate force on the pitch for the Lions all season.  Gamble scored a single-season team record 24 goals in just 22 games to rank fourth in the nation.  He set a new school record with 48 points as well.

Gamble was also named First-Team All-Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) and earned the conference's Offensive Player of the Year award.

He leaves Behrend as the program's all-time leader in goals (59) and points (133).
