ERIE, Pa. – Jake Gamble (Butler, PA/Butler), Eric Hackworth (Pittsburgh, PA/Shaler), and Will Cole (Russell, PA/Eisenhower), members of the Penn State Behrend men’s soccer team, have been selected to play for the Erie Admirals S.C. in the National Premier Soccer League this summer.

Gamble and Hackworth had outstanding seasons this year.  Gamble earned Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Offensive Player of the Year accolades with Hackworth taking home the AMCC Defensive Player of the Year award.  Cole came on late for the Lions and recorded nine saves in four post-season games, finishing the year with a 3-2 record between the pipes.

The Admirals begin the season on Friday against AFC Cleveland at Cleveland State University’s Krenzler Field.
