ERIE, Pa. – Junior Clay Altemose (Apollo, PA/Apollo-Ridge) and sophomore Lucas Kachurick (McKeesport, PA/Elizabeth Forward) were named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Men’s Swimmer and Diver of the Week, respectively.  

Altemose, earning this honor for the second time this season, was a triple individual winner for the Lions in a 160-137 win over W&J on Saturday. He captured the 100 butterfly (54.72), the 200 fly (2:03.84) and 200 backstroke (2:03.42) while swimming a leg on the winning 200 medley relay.

Kachurick, a four-time winner of this award, came out on top in the one-meter diving with a score of 266.25 and took second in the three-meter competition with a 214.30 this weekend.
