Junior guard Amy Oldach (Erie/Villa Maria) was recently named to the All-AMCC Second Team along with Defensive Player of the Year while freshman Taylor Lotis (Jefferson Hills/Thomas Jefferson) was rewarded with the AMCC's Newcomer of the Year.

Oldach performed like an all-conference selection throughout the entire season and her leadership on and off the court really shined bright for the blue and white.  With such a young team, Oldach was looked upon to provide guidance to the freshman and sophomores and she did not disappoint.  She led the team in points per game (13.1) and was second on the squad in rebounds per game (4.6).  She had a team high 121 assists and shot a team leading 81% from the free throw line.  Oldach's defense was on display game after game as she could have been charged with larceny with as many steals as she had.  On a team that averaged 15.0 steals per game, Oldach led the AMCC in steals per game with 4.0 and had a total of 100 on the season.

Lotis burst on to the scene in her first year to produce a great season for the Behrend Lions.  Lotis contributed on both ends of the court as she was second to Oldach in points with 12.4 and led the team in rebounds per game with 6.2.  She led the squad with 53 made three-pointers which ranked fifth in the AMCC.  Lotis also led the team in blocked shots with 12.  She would lead the Behrend Lions in scoring in nine out of the 25 games played.

The blue and white finished the conference regular season at 12-8 and had an overall record of 14-11.  The Behrend Lions drew the five seed in the conference tournament and were knocked out in the first round by the four seed, Penn State Altoona.
