BRADFORD, Pa. – Pitt-Bradford had four players in double figures and shot 51.7 percent from the floor to outlast Penn State Behrend 75-66 in Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) women's basketball action at the KOA arena on Wednesday night.

The Panthers (8-5, 6-1 AMCC) took control from the moment the whistle blew to start the second half, turning a two-point lead into an 11-point advantage in the first three and half minutes. Pitt-Bradford then went 8-for-10 from the free-throw line in the final two minutes to secure the win and snap the Lions (9-4, 5-2 AMCC) seven-game winning streak.

Ashley Seidenstricker led with 21 points, five rebounds, three assists and three steals for the Panthers. Danielle Zeamer and Maria Costanza each chipped in 13 points. Zeamer dished out a game-high eight assists.

Amy Oldach scored a team-high 16 points, while Holly Bourquin tallied 14 points and eight rebounds. As a team, Behrend shot 53 percent in the second half and 44 percent for the game from the field.

In a tightly contested first half, Pitt-Bradford managed to stay on top for the majority. The Panthers largest lead came with 55 seconds left. The Lions got four straight points from Bourquin on a jumper, steal by Emily Detsch and two free throws by Bourquin to take their last lead of the game at 27-26.

Seidenstricker dropped a trey and Zeamer drained back-to-back buckets for a 33-27 edge. Detsch knocked in a pair from the charity stripe at 33-29 to end the half.

An 11-4 run to open the second stanza pushed the lead to 44-33. Oldach's two layups on two Behrend possessions cut the lead to three at 48-45, but a 6-0 spurt quickly put the hosts up by nine with 10:19 left to play.

The Lions got within four points at the 3:52 mark for an attempt at the come-back victory. Costanza's layup and Seidenstricker three-pointer were the two baskets that put Behrend out of reach for good.
