ERIE, Pa. - The Penn State Behrend men’s and women’s home basketball teams will host their annual “Pink Zone” games against Franciscan this Saturday at the Junker Center. The women tip off at 2 p.m., followed by the men at 4 p.m.

Pink Zone is a global initiative by the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) whose mission is to assist in raising breast cancer awareness on the court, across campuses, and in communities and beyond. Members from both teams will be wearing pink to support the cause. Fans are encouraged to show support by wearing pink apparel to the game. 

Pink stadium cups and pink rubber ducks are promotional items that will be distributed at the game, while dance and cheer competition t-shirts will be for sale, with the proceeds benefiting the John Kanzius Cancer Research Foundation.
