ERIE, Pa.  – Holly Bourquin scored a career-high 19 points, including 14 in the first half to help Penn State Behrend post its largest margin of victory over Pitt-Greensburg in the last seven years by a score of 67-37 in Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) women's basketball action on Saturday.

Amy Oldach posted 15 points and tied a season best with seven steals, while Kim Pol led on the glass with a season-best eight rebounds for the Lions (8-3, 4-1 AMCC) sixth straight win.

Casey Stanton had a double-double for the Bobcats (2-11, 2-4 AMCC) with 14 points, 12 boards and six blocks.

Behrend held Greensburg to just 20.4 percent shooting from the floor and registering a 48-31 rebounding advantage for the 30-point victory.

Aly Eagle and Bourquin teamed up to get the Lions ahead 10-4 in the opening five minutes of the game. Bourquin sandwiched a pair of buckets in between two of Eagle's three-pointers, before Oldach drained a triple for an 11-point lead.

An 11-4 run by the Bobcats pulled them within four points at 19-15, but they couldn't stop Bourquin inside. She added eight points in the final eight minutes, while Pol and Oldach pitched in four points apiece for a nice 35-21 cushion at halftime.

Commonly seen throughout the game, an Oldach steal and fast-break layup got Behrend a 20-point lead with 11:10 left in the second half.

The Lions scored 44 points in the paint, 22 in each half, and obtained 16 points from the bench.

Behrend will face Mt. Aloysius tomorrow to complete AMCC weekend at the Junker Center. Game time is 1 p.m.
