ERIE, Pa. – For the second straight week, junior Dan Simon (Harrison City, PA/Penn-Trafford) has been named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Swimmer of the Week, announced on Monday.

Simon won three individual events, setting two pool records and posting an NCAA "B" cut time in the 100 backstroke this weekend at the Fredonia State Blue Devil Invitational. He won the 50 free (pool record), 100 free, 100 backstroke and also swam 49.88 in the opening leg of the 400 medley relay to set a pool record in a B cut time.

The Lions return to action on Saturday at Penn State Altoona. The meet begins at 1 p.m.
