ERIE, Pa. -- Michal Izdinsky scored nine goals to lift Salem International past the Penn State Behrend men's water polo team on Saturday afternoon at the Junker Center.

The two squads traded goals through much of the first half, with Salem taking a 6-5 advantage into the break.

The Tigers broke through in the second half, doubling up the Lions 10-5 in that span on their way to the six-goal victory.

Matthew Johnson led Behrend with three goals. Kyle Crossen (Huntington Beach, CA/Edison), Justin Vink (Los Angeles, CA/Granada Hills Charter), Logan McCartny (San Diego, CA/LaJolla), Aaron Figurski (Erie, PA/McDowell), Alex Chasar (North Wales, PA/North Penn), and Victor Nguyen (San Jose, CA/Evergreen Valley) also tallied scores for the Lions.

Behrend will brush up against Occidental on Friday, October 4, at the Gary Troyer Convergence.
