ERIE, Pa. – Four members of the Penn State Behrend men's water polo team were named to the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC) 2014 All-Academic Team, announced on Tuesday.

Victor Nguyen (San Jose, CA/Evergreen Valley), Alex Chasar (North Whales, PA/North Penn), and Kyle Crossen (Huntington Beach, CA/Edison) were named to the Superior All-Academic team, meaning they have achieved a grade-point average (GPA) of 3.70-3.41. Ty Elder (Brentwood, CA/Heritage) was named to the Excellent All-Academic team, featuring student-athletes with GPA's of 3.40-3.20.

Nguyen finished fourth on the team with 23 goals on 76 shots. Chasar scored 12 goals with 13 steals and nine assists, while Crossen made 19 steals with nine goals.

Earlier this year, Elder was named to the 2013 ACWPC All-American Team. The sophomore goalie set a single-season Behrend record with 325 saves and forced a team-leading 71 steals.
