Allen Named USTFCCCA All-Academic

ERIE, Pa. – Junior women's track and field athlete Paige Allen (Butler, PA/Butler) was named an U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic individual for her achievements on the track and in the classroom last season.

Including the Scholar Athletes of the Year, a total of 423 women from 129 institutions earned USTFCCCA All-Academic honors during the 2015-16 track and field season.

To qualify for the USTFCCCA All-Academic Track & Field Team, the student athlete must have compiled a cumulative GPA of 3.3 and have met at least one of the following athletic standards:

• Competed in an NCAA Indoor or Outdoor Championship

• Finished the regular season ranked in the national top 35 in an individual event or ranked in the national top 25 (collective listing) in a relay event on the official NCAA POP list provided by TFRRS.org

Allen competed in the NCAA Outdoor Championships after qualifying sixth in the 100m and 13th in the 200m, setting school records in both events.
