ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend women's water polo team is back in action for a weekend at Grove City College for three matches against VMI, Gannon and Wittenberg.

Schedule:

Friday vs. VMI, 6 p.m.
Saturday vs. Gannon, 9 a.m.
Sunday vs. Wittenberg, 3 p.m.

Behrend News & Notes:

* The Lions opened the season last weekend with three losses
* Olivia Wright (Fairview, PA/Fairview) led Behrend last week, netting five goals over the span of three games
* Wright also collected two helpers in the season opener against Mount St. Mary's
* Marley Persch (Hudsonville, MI/Hudsonville) had goals in each game played for a total of four tallies heading into this weekend
* Chloe Dodgen (Riverside, CA/Hillcrest) returns to the team following a 2021 season that named her a Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division III Second Team selection
* Dodgen amassed 73 saves in eight games in goal a season ago

* VMI, Gannon and Wittenberg enter the weekend with a combined record of 2-19
* The Golden Knights are the only team of the three to have registered a win, collecting two with victories over the Keydets and Mount St. Mary's
