The Lions (6-3) put up a three-spot in the bottom of the first when Alex Margraf (Erie, PA/McDowell) scored following a Titans (3-7) error. Ryan Finnegan (Fombell, PA/Riverside) then nailed a two-run single to put Behrend up 3-0.

Finnegan struck again in the third when he singled home Nathan Junk (Cabot, PA/Knoch) to put the Lions ahead 4-0. Then in the fourth, Jordan Weinzierl (St. Mary's PA/St. Mary's) and Brian Bohman (Erie, PA/McDowell) each had RBI-doubles to close out the game's scoring.

Brandon Bergstrom (Pittsburgh, PA/North Allegheny) went 3-for-4 with two runs scored and Finnegan was 2-for-3 with three runs batted in.
