ERIE, Pa – Penn State Behrend men's soccer player Evan Augustine (South Park, PA/South Park) has been named Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Defensive Player of the Year. He also made First Team All-ECAC to go along with his Player of the Year achievement.

The senior defender capped off his career adding yet another prestigious award. Early this month, he was honored as the AMCC Defensive Player of the Year. His stellar defense helped the Lions hold a 0.57 goals against average including 13 shutouts. He also contributed on offense, adding two goals and an assist for five points. Augustine finishes his career tied on the all-time list for career games played with 88.
