Ralph to Play for Erie Commodores

ERIE, Pa. - Penn State Behrend goalkeeper Chris Ralph (Murrysville, PA/Franklin Regional) has been selected to play for the Erie Commodores FC in the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) this summer.

In his first season with the Lions, Ralph posted a 15-2-3 record with a 0.62 goals against average. He also added nine shutouts and an .806 save percentage.

Ralph racked up a handful of honors at the end of the year for his stellar play in goal throughout the season. He was named to the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) First Team, National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) First-Team All-Great Lakes Region, and a Second-Team All-American.

The Erie Commodores FC will kick off their 2017 season on Sunday, May 26 against Buffalo FC at Gannon University beginning at 7 p.m.
