NEW WILLMINGTON, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend women's track and field team finished fifth out of 13 teams at the Westminster Invitational won by the Titans, Saturday, posting a team score of 69 points.

Amanda Wehrle was everywhere Saturday, the senior runner placed third in the 200m (27.56 seconds) dash and then sixth in the 100m (13.79 seconds) and 400m (1:03.22) races.

Jenna Fatica has owned the 800m race so far this year, the senior racked up another first place finish after running it in 2:21.67. Katie Spade joined Fatica in the race, finishing fifth (2:25.21). The two women then pushed each other to second and third place honors in the 1500m run, 4:55.98 and 5:02.82, respectively. Catie Bertges (5:05.25) also held a top-ten performance coming in fourth place. Bertges (18:50.35) then took to the women's 5000m run, crossing the line fourth out of 24 participants.

The 4x400 relay team earned third-place honors. Marquitta Davis, Jamie Szramowski, Alex Falvo and Elizabeth Masteller clocked in at 4:49.98.

In field events, Angela Sweeney vaulted over the bar for a day best 2.5m, good enough for fourth place.

Behrend's Stephanie Strougton and Breeann Dickey competed in the javelin throw hurling the spear, 29.87m and 29.80m, respectively to wrap up the day's events.
