ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend women’s track& field team is one out of 111 Division III programs to be named a 2011 All-Academic Track & Field team by the U.S Track& Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).

To earn this honor, a team must carry a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 3.1. The Lions, who boast a 3.10 GPA for the 2010-11 academic year, were the only team representing the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC).

Behrend finished in third place at the Mason-Dixon Outdoor Track & Field Championships, while four individuals broke school records.
